Meet Muffin Man

By Melissa Woomer

One chilly fall day, five-year-old Missy and her mom are driving home when they spot a muddy little clump beside the road.

Then the clump moves.

Hidden beneath the mud is a tiny, sick kitten with fluffy white fur and the deepest blue eyes Missy has ever seen. He needs a warm bath, a visit to the veterinarian, plenty of care, and perhaps a little help convincing Dad that their family has room for one more.

Inspired by a true childhood memory, Meet Muffin Man is a tender picture book about compassion, animal rescue, and the unforgettable moment a lonely little girl meets her very best friend.

Perfect for young cat lovers, bedtime reading, and families who believe every animal deserves a safe and loving home.
