No first-hand knowledge, but...

...my son (age 9) loves the series, and loves this one in particular. Did a book report on it for school. It's too bad there are not more of these in the "Measle" series.

You're Crazy If You Don't Like This Book

The book is great because it shows you that teamwork can prevail through anything. In this book, Measle reallizes that in this world there is more than one demension. Measle goes down the Doompit to save his classmate, Polly. And with the help of his friend, the Wrathmonk Iggy, and his faithful dog, they help each other plow through terrors they could not have overcome alone. Soren duHoffmann, 11 years old
