Dreams come true in this hilarious, feel-good fairy tale about life, love, and dating literature's most eligible bachelor After a string of disastrous dates, Emily Albright decides she's had it with... This description may be from another edition of this product.
A hopeless romantic girl who has passion in reading, high expectations about men and dating, but has not got that lucky in real life just yet. Mr. Darcy is her dreamed man, that is. The get away vacation will bring her closer to him, Mr. Darcy, and another guy who has nothing like him. At last she chooses the one that is real and touchable. This is the book that is good for young adults and all adults. It is very entertaining to see how the author can create the story which has Mr.Darcy "The every girl dreamed man" and the other man who is totally different in many way and yet still is charming. I like this book a lot. It is a perfect book to pack along with other belongings when travel, very romantic, and yet very funny.

I absolutely loved this book. It is the perfect mental escape every girl needs now and then. I liked the author's writing style so much, that I am going to purchase her other books.
Delicious without trying

Most of the Jane Austen books try too hard to BE Jane Austen. I like that this one didn't do that. It was happy just being obsessed with her. The characters are likable and relatable. The situations are funny (there is one scene involving luggage that to this day makes my sides hurt from laughing) but without being campy. I would recommend this book to anyone! Especially those who love Jane Austen, but maybe not the style of writing (think movie lover, not book lover). I will gladly read again.
LOL in some parts

I have to give this a 5 because there were moments where I for real laughed out loud...laughed so hard I had tears streaming down my face. And this happened in several different settings so it wasn't just the mood I was in on any particular day(!). I think it was the dialogue and imagining "Mr. Darcy" fast forwarded into present day time; completely cracked me up. I never looked at this book as more than a silly romantic comedy and for me it deliverd. I thought it was cute, upbeat and fun. I did feel right from the start it was a very predictable ending but even that did not stop me from enjoying it. Honestly I was surprised at all the negative reviews!
Good

It's very predictable but I enjoyed it anyway. I loved the modern day Pride and Prejudice. I liked the new perspective of what Fitzwilliam Darcy did and who he met after the Elizabeth fiasco, and what might have happened had he not gone back. The heroine is funny, and the new misunderstood hero is just as great once his rudeness starts to dissipate.
