An answer to prayer

Kim Davies book was an answer to prayer when I was also diagnosed with LCIS and facing the controversy of saving my breast or loosing them. Although I had read several medical viewpoints, nothing is like getting a prospective from another woman faced with the same dilemma. Kim is very personal in her real life story from diagnosis to being a survivor. A must read for anyone facing breast cancer or any other circumstances in life that seem impossible.

courageous and compelling

I have read this book twice and both times found it to be a compelling story that encourages both women and men to listen to their bodies. Here is a story of one woman dedicated to that listening and making decisions extraordinarily difficult to ensure a healthy future with her family. I personally believe her dedication in sharing this story is an act of courage and should be read. Breast cancer, at whatever stage and wherever it occurs, creates immeasurable trauma in the lives of all it affects. Ms. Davies brings her own story to us in a way that encourages hope and diligence in all of us that have known that trauma.

Moving, Motivating, Inspirational

Kim, through her struggles and triumphs, drew me into to her world and help me experience her story to the fullest....her story, moved me to tears, motivated to action in my own life, and inspired me to make my dreams come true...a must read for anyone who is or knows someone going through cancer....I'll tell everyone to read it...my father borrowed it...couldn't put it down and read it in one afternoon, and loved it....my review is buy it!.....
