Sizzling

This was my 1st Harper Allen book, and after reading it I immediately bought 2 more of hers! Tamara King is a firefighter who is torn about leaving an arson investigation up to the appropriate investigators. She runs into Stone McQueen, an ex-arson investigator who's pulled himself back from the edge and who has promised a little girl he'll help. Definitely lives up to Intrigue's claim of "Breathtaking Romantic Suspense". This book kept me up all night 'cause I could not put it down!

great book

Yeah, it's a cheapie romance novel. But the characters are pretty intriguing and the sex scenes are really hot. It's well written, which I can't say for a lot of the books in the Harlequin Intrigue line. The characters are imperfect and complex and the plot has some unpredictable twists and turns. And did I mention the sex scenes are hot?
