McCauley Louisiana Family

Patrick McCauley, son of Henry McCauley and Catherine Camela, is a native of Ireland. He married Anne Ivy, a native of Virginia. They settled in the Mamou Prairie, Louisiana. Their daughter Rosalie married Paul P. Fontenot, son Henry McCauley married Marie Louise Fontenot in May 1814 and Elizabeth married John H. Thompson. Many of the McCauley's of Southwest Louisiana are descendants of these families. This book includes all the McCauley descendants named above. All the internet sites were used to compile the family histories. Moreover, photos were contributed by family and many were obtained on the various internet genealogical sites.
