Math Tricks that Draw Children

If you want your children to enjoy mathematics, this little book of math tricks may help. If you need a resource to assist you in cultivating a mathematical thirst in your kids, then this is a book for you. It is easy to follow; and with adult supervision, a child can do most of the math stunts and fun games. Some are repetitive and a couple are a little boring. Most are well planned out, engaging, and simple. I encourage parents to pick this up.

A great collection of magic tricks for the elementary school child or the teacher looking to enliven

When I was young, my brother and I would give magic shows for the neighborhood children. Of course, we had to bribe their attendance with a few cookies and a glass or two of Kool-Aid. Furthermore, we were awful, but as long as the stack had cookies in it and there was Kool-Aid in the jug, the children watched us. Our shows would have been so much better if we would have had this book as a resource. The tricks are easy to understand and execute and the mathematics is generally within the grasp of the elementary school child and knowledge of the number theory explanations is unnecessary. If you are or have a child that is interested in performing magic tricks, then this is a book for you. It could also serve as a resource for the math teacher that wants to liven up their classes with a little educational fun.
