Excellent textbook, strong in explanations and examples

My son used this textbook in a 5th grade pre-algebra course and loved its clear explanations and wide variety of problems. The problems ranged widely in degree of difficulty in each section, which particularly helped him when it was time for review. Overall, a strong and solid textbook, great for learning and exercising your new knowledge.
