Marcus and the Green Belts of Time: Year One

Marcus and his friends have been seeing some bizarre figures spying on them through their bedroom windows. Wearing sparkling silver robes, glowing silver belts, and silver boots that curiously give them the ability to float, the mysterious figures are indeed an exciting and somewhat frightening mystery. In the midst of this, Marcus, Lu Pham, and Alonso Rodriguez have to deal with frustrating pre-tests, bullying by the relentless Huey Hamrock, and other everyday problems of middle school. But on a dusty road in West Texas, the trio is confronted by Angel Washington, the leader of the The Circle, Charles Daniels, a robot and instructor of time traveling, and Robert Thorne, a talented green belt advisor.

Quickly the boys discover that they are the ones who have been spying on them, and the group invites them to journey into the distant future for an opportunity of a lifetime. After they arrive at The Circle and get a chance to explore its massive, cavernous hallways, the boys are given their uniforms and glowing neon green belts, and instruction and trials begin. Named The Dragons, Marcus, Alonso and Lu are instructed on the rules of time, and must complete challenging trials that include growing a futuristic garden, harnessing the power of flight, completing dizzying airborne puzzles and also dealing with the dreaded Scorpions, an egotistical team of bullies that want nothing more than to be in charge of The Circle. Then there's The Hidden One, a mysterious and malicious figure from a troubled time period that has the potential to attack The Circle and cause chaos to the Dragons and all participants involved. Will the Dragons be able to survive the challenge and rank up?
