Jared Jenner resigns from the Columbus, Ohio Police Department to teach Forensics at the Central Ohio Community College. When his favorite student fails to show up for his class, he becomes suspicious and discovers a major, state-wide Human Trafficking ring located in Delaware, Ohio. Jared becomes a MANGO (Mobilization/Adversary Non-Governmental Organization worker) and recruits a local investigator , The Retriever aka Kent Pace. They launch a full scale investigation, which ends with Pace being arrested, and Jenner's girlfriend locked in an unheated garage on Christmas Day. Jenner convinces the State Police to conduct multiple raids to shut down the operation and save his friends. In the end Jenner finds himself in a one-on-one face off with the leader of the Trafficking Organization.
