Making Room for God: A Creative Guide for Praying Through Your Home

By Cathy Baker

Book Overview

"This prayer companion isn't written by a woman who has it all together, prays pretty prayers, or is always comfortable praying aloud. It is, however, written by someone who, like you, longs for the power of God to reside in my heart, the hearts of those I love, and my home." --Cathy Baker

Spend time with God in every area of your home--preparing for each moment of gathering, eating, sleeping, working, resting, or playing.

No matter how big or small your space is, Cathy Baker invites you to cover your home in prayer with the help of this spiral-bound workbook. Each section offers space for you to sketch the rooms in your home, reflect on your hopes and prayers, and respond to "Gentle Gospel Nudges" that prompt you to consider how else your home might be a prayed-for environment for God's glory.

Pause to invite God's blessings on those who live, laugh, and lament within your walls. As you develop a rhythm of unceasing prayer for family relationships and beyond, you'll have a front- row seat to watch God at work in the lives of those you love.
