Tallulah Greene is not scared of caves. She said so out loud, in front of the entire fifth grade, which is exactly how she ended up wearing a lanyard that says TOUR BUDDY CAPTAIN and riding a rattling metal cage ninety feet down into Hollowmoor Caverns. Her best friend Ravi Chandrasekar keeps up a running comedy routine the whole way down, narrating the trip like a nature documentary to keep her breathing. It almost works. It works right up until every light in the cavern goes out at the same time.
