speculative fiction holotype

Atwood continues the Oryx & Crake Trilogy with stunning world-building and gripping plot that will likely have you finishing this book in one or two sittings. It doesn't quite have the oomf and social commentary of the first two in the series, but also doesn't just nicely tie things up and say "ok this is done now." It's unapologetically bleak and confrontational, so don't read this before attending a wedding or baby shower.

The imaginative world and language of Margaret Atwood is spell-binding. The wit and will of the main character in entertaining beyond belief. Reading it again soon!
