Lupita Manana

Lupita Mana and which means "tomorrow will be fine" This novel is greatest. Because in this novel there is a poor family and that lived in Ensenada, Mexico. In that family there is a brother as Salvador and sister as Lupita. They are younger. Their father is a fisherman and there mother works in Aguilar's hotel. Lupita goes to school at that time and she dreamed to be a teacher. Because of the Lupita's father told Lupita to quit school and start earning money. But their purity increased. They were helpless at that time. Therefore their mother made a decision for Salvador and Lupita to go the U.S.A so that they can earn more money. Because their Aunt Consuelo lived in the California. Salvador and Lupita agreed to go to the U.S.A. They separated very difficultly form their mother. They faced some problems during their jouney,such as hunger and fatigue. Also some people stopped them and they beat Salvador. With conflicts, finally they arrived to Aunt Consuelo's home. Then they had another problem at Aunt Consuelo's home because Aunt Consuelo's husband was not happy with them. There were conflicts but Lupita and Salvador faced bravely. Then Salvador started to change his behavior. She always tried to stop Salvador to go wrong way. And she still belive that tomorrow will be fine.

LUPITA'S MAÃ`ANA REVIEW

This book was very interesting; I did like it so much. My favorite part of the book is when they pass through Tijuana because they face a lot of danger and they pass through it. I did like those parts of the book because is very dangerous and very touching. The ones that crossed the border were two family members. But that's not the reason I like it, the reason was because my mom and my sister crossed the border almost the same way.It's hard because you don't know what to do to help them. And by reading this book I remember what we passed through the border. Lupita and Salvador were family, so that was even better that they always try to stay together. The character that I like the most was Lupita because she was the one that suffered the most. In this book it talks about how the family of our Mexican country is so united, like in the book how lupita and Salvador left their country so they could help their mom they left everything they love; that is the most touching part for me in the book. I really recommend this book for teenagers who are also interested in reading books about other countries of the world. In this book the author makes the audience think about the places they travel to. Everything the author mentions about the book it's realistic, because it has something that the author writes that makes the book more exciting. But, yes, one thing I tell you the ending it didn't make any sense. They had to put more suspense or something happy or at least simple resolution. The end for me was just very without something to feel happy about. But just the end was bad. On the rest of the book was very interesting, it felt like if you read a little, you wanted to read more read more. I did really like this book, because you see how young children help their mom. It also tells you hoe a young girl with only fourteen years of age, is so united with her older brother. And how the people of Mexico are so simple and united.

A book every young adult should read.

This is a book about the life that few of us truly understand and everyone should get a glimpse of. As a teacher in a rural all-white school, I am going to make sure that my students read this book and others like it so they can gain a better perspective of immigrants and all they have to go through. Definitely worth reading!

Upita Manana

I thought that this was one of the best books I ever read. It was very exciting and I liked it very much. It was a very good book to read.The story is about two Spanish kids (Lupita and Salvador) who are very poor when their father dies. There is not enough money to support the family. The only way that they could make money was to sneak into the U.S. and live with their rich aunt. They mailed all of the money they made back to Ensenada, Mexico. They are always traveling and on the lookout for the immigration police. It is hard for her to learn a language but it is the only way she can stay in the U.S illegally. People in the book call her Lupita Manana because she is always hoping for a better tomorrow. I would recommend this book to a lot of other people. It is a great book to read and I think that others would like it.

I thought that this was a very good book. It was a good book to read and it was very exciting. The book is about two spanish kids(Lupita,Salvador)who are left very poor after their father dies. They need to find out a way how to earn money for their mother. They sneak into the U.S. and live with their aunt. They find work and send their money back to Mexico. They are always traveling and always on the look out for the immigration police. Do they get caught? The people call the girl Lupita Manana because she is always hoping for a better tomorrow. I think that many people should read this book. I would recomend that people in 6th grade and up read this book. It is a very good book and I think that others would like it...
