Then as luck would have it Vinnie Instantly goes from young street hustler, to game contestant, and then to a patsy for organized crime. Ultimately the health of Vinnie Verelli and the life of everyone he loves becomes a game of craps. Things of honor, integrity, self-respect, and pride may have nothing to do with luck but they certainly evoke things of good fortune as Vinnie finds himself turning to these qualities for salvation.
