from reading a person's diary. No matter what the problem, in retrospect, one always seems to realize that "life is a dog" but he/she can get over it. This book, yet another of Greg Evans' earlier works, shows us the Luann we've come to love: one who confides in her Diary when troubles bog her, one that longs for the day when Aaron Hill will finally know she exists, and one that loves her family but wonders if her brother hadn't been raised by wolves and then adopted. The reader basically takes a look at Luann's world through her eyes. It's nice to look back on the earlier strips of a comic's career and see how much they've grown as artists and storytellers. This book is a must read for any Luann fan. Who knows, you might finally find that someone's diary makes for a better soap opera than your own.
