I wanted a short one-shot light novel I could listen to, and I chose this one! I though the plot was promising and cute. I did like the world on this. It has regency vibes. I don't think you can be too deep on this. What you read/listen, is what you get. It's very straight forward and it's very entertaining. The way the story flows is good. I really like Wallace and how smart he is. I really like the conflict in the kingdom and how the story plays out in that one. The romance... well it's something... For me, the narrator was good. I liked how she stuck to the story and I thought the narrator delivered the characters well. Especially Giselle. Her voice for Giselle fits so much. It was well done! Some warnings: - our heroine is underage - potential dubious consent - spice level is 🌶🌶🌶 - almost grape
