I had read Ms. Sims book "Don't Weep for Me" and found it very enlightening. I just recently took a trip to the library and came across "Loving Me....." It helped me to continue to focus on the direction that I wanted to follow. My Own. I have had to struggle quite a bit since reading "Don't weep..." but I am still standing. I still struggle with the emotional up and down rollercoaster that occurs whenever I meet a man. Is he going to like me, is he going to ask me for a second date, etc.... I realized that I am giving away alot of my power to complete strangers. Why should their opinion mean more than my own or that of those who truly know me. This book has been a stepping stone to loosening up the hold that my past relationship held on my life. I strongly recommend this book to single/divorced women. Claudette is right. There is a difference between being single and being alone. When you love and nurture yourself, you will never be alone.
Fabulous!

This book was great! Like the other person who commented, I didn't take me long at all to read this book. She made a lot of good points. It was well written and very insightful.
Uplifting and positive

I purchased this book Thursday and was finished reading it by Friday, not only because it was a short book, but because it was so interesting, informative and easy to relate to making it hard to put down. This is one of those "been there, done that" books that is good to read to let you know that you aren't the only one going through many of the things Ms. Sims writes about. After reading this book, I have a more positive outlook on being single and am looking forward to enjoying myself and singlehood until I meet the "Right One". But if I don't that's alright too.
