Wonderful!!

A serial killer is on the loose in San Antonio and Detective Mark Halstan is given the case. Very few clues have been left, but when he sees a beautiful woman waiting on his lieutenant, Mark can't help but hope that this will be the break that he needs. Plus, his instant arousal surprises him. Mark just wants to know more about this gorgeous woman. Dr. Maya Richardson comes from a horrible childhood. Unwanted because of her biracial heritage, she spent most of growing up years caring for her foster sister. When her foster sister is killed by the Slayer stalking San Antonio, Maya must identify her body. Lucky for Maya that Mark Halstan is with her during the identification process and her subsequent breakdown and tears. Feeling safer in Mark's arms than she has ever felt in her life, Maya is scared of the emotions she feels when with Mark. The killer continues to strike and it seems that Maya now may be an unwilling target. In spite of all this, Mark and Maya grow closer and begin to fall in love. When things heat up and the FBI calls in an agent, the killer begins to feel the pressure and Maya is suddenly in danger. The case comes to a head with extremely surprising results! For a first novel, Love's Redemption by Kimberly Kaye Terry pretty much blew me away. Full of intrigue, suspense, surprise paranormal aspects, and extremely erotic and loving sex, Love's Redemption kept me on my toes. I couldn't put it down. Mark Halstan captured my attention and I fell in love with him for his loyalty and complete devotion to Maya. Patient, kind, and extremely sexy, Mark was a wonderful hero. Despite her childhood and bad memories, Maya had to learn to love without fear and she did so with flying colors. Together, Mark and Maya were just my idea of a perfect couple. sexy and intelligent

Love's Redemption was one of those books where you think you know what's going to happen and then you're knocked off your feet when something else does. This story is about a woman who works with women at a shelter who are trying to get off the streets. Her sister is killed by this serial killer and she gets into the investigation. The hero is the detective assigned to the case and they end up working together to find out who the killer is. I won't give away the surprise, but I bet you won't guess who the killer is either! The romance is incredible! I googled this author and was surprised to find out that this was her first book. This book had it all. The romance was beautiful and the sex was graphic, steamy, and detailed but done well!! I read this as an ebook, and when I found out it was in print I ordered it as well, that's how good it is. The other thing I really liked about it was that she had so many races represented! The hero is white and the heroine is black, but unlike some romances with different races, the author doesn't even deal with the issue, and it makes it a much more enjoyable read for me. IF you like suspense and really hot sex an amazing love story, I definitely recommend this book!

Couldn't Put it Down

I really loved this book! For a new writer, the author shows a remarkable talent for continuity of story and depth of characters. There wasn't one element in this book that I didn't like. The heroine was sweet, but strong and the hero was alpha and hot without being a bully. The suspense of the novel also kept me turning the pages. The love story was beautiful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good read. Bravo, Ms. Terry!

This is a book that you will remember after reading 100 more. It has everything.....romance...intrigue...steam. The mystery will keep you turning the pages. The characters are well-rounded. The male character will make you want your own Detective Mark. He's HOT. The female is someone to be admired. Kimberly Kaye Terry's style of writing will keep your interest to the point that you'll not skip any words. Buy this book. It's worth every cent.

Brilliant!

Fabulous! This book has everything - suspense, intrigue, romance, humor. The hero had me thinking 'Man, I'd sure like one of those!' The heroine is strong with just a touch of vulnerability, like all of us. I could really relate to them. Also, the twists and turns mixed with hot romance keep the book in your hand and your eyes glued to the pages! You don't know what's going to happen until you get to the end. I loved it!
