SPOILER WARNING! Ok, got that out of the way. This is the volume "Love Com" fans have been waiting for. Ootani tells Risa not to stop loving him, and when his basketball team gets unevenly matched with a team of giants, he starts to realize how much he needs her around. This all leads to the climax, where Risa and Ootani actually get together. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say that it's very sweet and realistic. I especially loved Risa's reaction. The story keeps going strong after this point, and deals with the problems Ootani and Risa face while trying to figure out how to go from friends to a couple. I love how "Love Com" continues to focus on the friendship aspect of Ootani and Risa's relationship, even after they start going out. It has so much more substance than the typical mush and drama, and makes the characters (and romance) more realistic and sympathetic. Even the awkwardness that sometimes occurs between the two is sweeter than the usual fluff. There's a certain innocence to it, and its fun to watch the characters grow in their relationship. Anyway, if you've been reading "Love Com," get this volume as soon as possible. And if you haven't been reading it, you should definitely pick up this series. I'm sure you'll absolutely love it.
