Peter is an ordinary boy . . . at first. Then one day he decides to become a dog. He loves to play fetch. He can bark like no one's business. And just look at him chase that mailman But while Peter is good at being a dog, he is not always a "good "dog. What's a puppy to do when his mother and father want their human son back? Luckily, Peter comes up with a solution that should make everyone happy. Jeff Jarka's debut is part picture book, part comic book, and completely charming.
We received a free signed copy of "Love that Puppy!" yesterday. My daughter is only two and doesn't talk much but this book has just become her most favorite book. We read it three times yesterday because she just enjoyed it so much and two times so far today. I myself laughed towards the end of the book. It is funny, makes her smile and best of all laugh too. Can't wait for the author, Jeff Jarka to write another. We are instant fans for life.

What a WONDERFUL children's book! Brillant illustrations and an adorable story about a boy who want to be a puppy. My 2 1/2 yr old son is always pretending to be a puppy and is so much like the main character! He just LOVES this story. My thanks to Jeff Jarka for this tale!

This is such a fun book. I thought it might be a little over my 2 year old twins' heads, but they love the illustrations and the text is very clever. I strongly recommend!
Perfect Little Tale (Tail!) for Tots

Jeff Jarka's storybook for kids is a wonderful addition on anyone's bookshelf. Whimsical, sweet, and pure, this tale of a boy who wants to be a dog will win over the entire family. The illustrations are bold, bright, and adorable, and your young ones will beg to look at them over and over again. It's one of those books that -- when grown -- a child will look back and go, "I remember when Mom and Dad read this with me -- and I'm going to do the same with my own kids!"
The Cutest Book

This is the cutest, most well written and illustrated book I've seen in well... ever. And I'm not biased in the least. -The author's wife, Theresa
