Love Poems: The agony and the ecstasy.

The heart wants to love and be loved, and my heart has known great suffering as well as great happiness. Poetry allowed me to try and put down on paper these feelings of my heart. My poems express the agony of the heart, such as unreturned love, and the ending of a relationship. They also show the ecstasy of the heart in love, when that love is returned, and the powerful feelings that this causes. The book also includes a study of the Byzantine fortress of Timgad in Algeria, which the author visited.
