saved my relationship

I purchased this book when it was first published by the author and have loaned it out so many times that I had to purchase more copies. It really opened my eyes to the fact that it is possible to have a discussion about something without breaking out into an argument. The guidelines are easy to understand and make sense. They taught me to listen to what my partner has to say WITHOUT constantly thinking of what I'm going to say next. Then you learn to have fun brainstorming a solution, after which you set a date to review the results. This book has allowed me to have a relationship that has lasted more than 3 months - my partner and I been together for 12 years thanks to this advice.
