This book contains both Louisiana's oldest and most representative of of our historical homes and building everything from Plantation to typical Cajun dwelling our finest Cathedrals to the humble meeting house . Rail way depots , Banks , Schools , business structures. A well photographed mostly in color and some sketches of buildings no longer standing . A really well researched pictorial digest of the buildings we lived , worshiped and worked in. A really delightful book for architects , historians and folks who want to see what we often can't travel to .
