Where in the World is Snowbear?!

This book was interesting because it showed many colors and it actually made you think of the question, where IS Ojo's Snowbear? Then, when you ask yourself this, it makes you not want to set the book down for anything until you find out if and where Ojo finds her Snowbear. Plus, it adds a bit of fun to finding it. They all decide to play hide-and-seek because they think that maybe she could be playing while they were looking for her. It shows Ojo and all her friends looking for her Snowbear up and down, basically everywhere. Now this shows how much you can loose without even knowing it. They found tons of things they had lost before and had failed finding until then. The vivid and colorful pictures are sure to grab the attention of a young child. I guess this story could also have a lesson attached to it. Whenever you feel like giving up, even if when you're only looking for something, you should never give up. You should keep trying, and I think that would be a very good lesson even for younger children because they might try some sport and not make the team and be discouraged. Yet, that doesn't mean they should think they can't play and will never try again. That means they should get back up and try over until they're happy with what they're doing. It's funny how much you can get out of just a story such as this isn't it?
