Tired of a constant diet of rogues and rakes? Read this!

Nice guys finish first where it counts. And Lord Frederick (Freddie to all but his overbearing mother, who insists on using his proper name, George Harold Arthur Pennington) is a nice guy. He's spent his whole life, since inheriting his title as a boy, trying to do what's right and what will make those around him happy. His mother and a scheming society miss mistake his nobility of spirit for wimpiness at their peril, as Freddie demonstrates dramatically when he turns the ton on its ear by championing his childhood friend, ostracized 'single mother' Anne. Yet Freddie's strength of character is such that he convinces everyone to accept Anne. Now, if only he could convince Anne to accept him....
