Living With Chronic Illness: The Challenge of Adjustment

I first read this book 10 years ago when I was working as a hospital chaplain. The booked helped me immensely in my understanding of those living with chronic illness. I picked the book up again in the last few weeks after being diagnosed myself with a chronic illness. When I began reading the book, I was in contacnt pain, was filled with despair and saw no hope. Re-readingt this book renewed my interest in life, help to understand what I was feeling, made me feel that I was not alone and offered tremendous hope. This is a superb book that is a must read for all caregivers and for all those who have chronic diseases.
