Liturgical Sketches Journal & Coloring Book: A Collaboration of Scripture, Heart and Imagination

By Gwen Meharg

Liturgical Sketches is a new take on an ancient practice - Visio Divina. Latin for "divine seeing", Visio Divina is a method for meditating on scripture using images. Fifty-six drawings mix visual puns, contemporary, and traditional images to accompany you through the liturgical year. Connecting the Bible passages and images is a little like finding Waldo. Bible study is serious, but that does not mean it cannot also be fun. Join the collaboration of scripture and art through journaling and coloring in your book. Don't forget to have fun.
