In 16th century Africa, a young Mandinka boy sets out on a perilous journey through rugged jungle terrain to a distant village. Facing mortal danger, he completes the journey and reaches his destination. There he recounts his journey to the village elders. Later, he meets a witch doctor, who places him in a deep hypnotic trance and implants subliminal messages in his mind. When Sadiq sets out for home, his world is turned upside down.

Sadiq begins an adventure that is magical and legendary.
