Little Jenny Rau and her Summer Adventure

The sky over Hammonasset Beach was painted in the softest watercolors as the sun shone high in the sky-robin-egg blue with fluffs of clouds floating above the gentle waves. Little Jenny Rau could hardly contain her excitement as her family unloaded their rusty blue van at the edge of the sand dunes. This was her first proper camping trip this summer, and she was determined to make it magical.
While her parents set up the tent, and her big sister Hannah collected seashells, Little Jenny Rau slipped away to the edge of the camp with red sand bucket small shovel. The air was full of the scent of salt and wildflowers. She knelt in the sand and began to build a sandcastle, her imagination bubbling like a mountain spring.
As she decorated the castle with colorful shells and silky strings of seaweed, her imaginary friends emerged, as lively and real to her as the sea itself. There they were, Alpaca Al all wooly and playful, Sammy Swine as pink as the brightest pink seashell, and Buddy Goat a rainbow of colors that matched the sea.
As the sun fell lower in the sky, Little Jenny Rau heard her sister Hannah, fearless and practical, beckoning to her over the sound of the seagulls chuckling overhead. Suddenly something went terribly wrong, and Hannah needed help at once. Little Jenny Rau's heart thumped, and her faithful friends sprang to her side.
