Part of the Old Yellar Series

A lot of people don't realize that Fred Gipson wrote a whole series of books and Old Yeller is just one in the series. I read Savage Sam and Little Arliss when I was 12 and loved both of them. It has been years since I read them and still think of all 3 books fondly. I see there is also a book called Before Old Yeller, I'm tempted to read it and then re-read the others, they are wonderful stories of the west, cowboys and indians, lots of excitement and also wonderful stories of humanity.
