Great all-in-one LA!

I'm so pleased with Listen, Read & Learn and so glad I found it. I was really struggling to find an LA program that would work for my daughter, 5. I like the all-in-one aspect of this. We repeat the story each day and then do a couple of the exercises at the end. I read some days, she listens to the CD some days, and she also reads the story on her own - so that counts for reading and read-aloud time, and she really benefits from staying on the same story for several days. Then the exercises cover a wide (but not too deep for grade level) range: phonics, comprehension, sequencing. It also gives her a chance to practice handwriting without the tedium of a handwriting book. Some of the activities call for cutting, gluing, drawing, etc. which she loves. I wish there were multiple volumes for a single grade level. My only complaint is that the audio CD's storytellers read too fast for beginning readers to follow along easily, and there are no turn page indicators or breaks.
