Lion and the Black

One word describes this book, terrific! I am not normally a romance novel reader but this book kept my attention and interest. I don't have much time for reading but I finished this book in 3 days. For romance readers this is the book to read, it is everyone's dream to meet a "fantasy soulmate" and when you can read about it and know it does happen makes it even more captivating. The way the book was written gives the reader that there is hope for that shot at true love and devotion. I give you a thumbs up Mr. Graves and I look forward to your next release.

The best adventure, romantic and suspense book ever!

This book caught me off by suprise. I am a college student and I don't have the time to read out of pleasure anymore. But as soon as I started reading the first few words, I was hooked! I was very much amazed at the story line and I managed to finish the book within a day. It's going to be hard to summarize this book without giving the whole thing away but here goes; I love how the author rights from both of the main character's view. This book also gave me a sense of freedom from the world. The characters were so alive in my mind that made it even more realistic and how the writer made the story so descriptive, every detail was written, but not excessively. It was as if it was a true story. It was hard to let the book go once I started reading, the events that happened that lead the two main characters together were very similar to how I met my fiancee. It's hard to find a book that has all of what I look for in a book, suspense, romance and adventure. What really impressed me the most is how the writer described the two intimately. It was not in any offensive way and anyone can read this without any impure thoughts, as young as 15 years old. It's not too complex or too simple, it's just even, just enough to take you away from reality and into the book.

Wonderful romance/adventure

I had a hard time putting this book down! This story kept me captivated until the end - I highly recommend this book for the romantics with a sense of adventure, and I'm looking forward to more wonderful stories from Kirk Graves!

Lion and the Black

What a great Romance Adventure story, couldn't put it down. The first book other than a text book, that I went cover to cover, since required reading in college. Waiting for the next installment. Thanks Kirk, it was a treat to read a Romance story even a man could enjoy.

Waiting patiently for the next book

What a delightful story. Very down to earth and digestible. The story just flowed, unlike some stories that jump around. It had a bit of everything that is sure to appeal to many. Adventure, romance, mystery, and the famous question mark that keeps and holds your interest to continue reading till the wee hours of the morning. It's a pleasure to see that the nice guy can finish first. A refreshing read that captures your heart and soul, with an ending that leaves you hungry for more.
