"The main reason I started this cookbook 10 years ago, was to put down in writing my favorite
recipes all in the same place. Now when I want to find a certain recipe, I don't have to look in
300 cookbooks, I just go to one book, because my memory isn't what it used to be. When I want
to take a walk down memory lane or get inspired for, 'What's for dinner, ' I now just open, 'MY
COOKBOOK.' I also wanted a legacy for my children and grandchildren. I only have three
grandsons at the time of this printing, but they all love to cook and it's a great pleasure to help
them learn. Because if they know how to cook they will never go hungry, no matter what the
ingredients are."
