Lilith

By Ambika Devi

What if time is not linear, but rather folds in on itself? Lilith is a mystical love story unfolding over a single extraordinary day on the streets of South Philadelphia. A chance meeting with a man in an Italian Market cheese shop sends our feisty heroine into a time-tripping journey through memory, dreams, relationships, childhood, and love.

Along the way, reality becomes wonderfully porous. Lilith talks with guardian nature spirits, encounters ghosts and a wizard, explores Tarot, receives lessons in masculine and feminine, and meets the great Divine Mother Goddess. Stories nest inside stories as past and present converge and the familiar world gives way to extraordinary realities.

At the heart of it all is Lilith herself-independent, questioning, sensual, spiritual, and very human-and a playful retelling of her ancient myth. Part love story, part metaphysical adventure, Lilith explores what happens when time collapses, worlds intersect, and one remarkable day becomes a journey toward awakening.

Take a walk through South Philadelphia. Time-trip through the dreamscape. Meet the Goddess. And discover what happens when every moment becomes now.
