Issue #1 was first featured in Alterna Comics' Alterna Tales #3, and Issue #2 was written by Nick Vollmer. DJ Coffman (Hero By Night, Yirmumah ) called it "cool cartooning ", and Michael Bracco (the Novo series) said the book "has the potential to capture the magic of Jeff Smith's BONE."
