Very inspiring, excellent process & exercises

I just finished this book - it took me a little over a week - and I'm planning to start back at the beginning and read it again, this time taking plenty of time to work through the exercises. I read a lot of these types of books, as I'm very interested in personal and spiritual growth as well as the building of my home businesses. As they go, I found this one to be extremely well done. It's fun to read, gives you a good understanding of the author's background and motivations, and I found it extremely inspiring. What makes it most useful, though, are the simple steps that you can really sink your teeth into. Although 6 steps sounds short, they're actually very involved and do require a lot of work. But the payoff is commensurate with the effort put forth to make real and lasting changes. The "6 steps" thing just makes it easy to remember, and implement, in a methodical and workable process. I loved it! Plan to really work it through. Highly recommended for personal growth fans. If a second book or revised version were made available, I would love to see either a summary of major points at the end of each chapter, or maybe a workbook section at the end of the book with an outline and the exercises. Fortunately, I am reading on a Kindle, so I'm using lots of highlights so I can download the steps and exercises, and format them for regular use.

Absolutely the best Success Book Ever!

Tom Ferry's new Book Life By Design has simple to follow, yet, powerful life changing steps that offer a true road map to personal success and fulfillment. The book first takes you through of a process of really seeing oneself as you are today; he calls it, "Wake up from your coma" and then, he cleary takes the reader through a process of defining ones true purpose for living. The book does not stop there, but guides you through a process of Designing your life with clear Action Steps and Strategies. It has so much to offer, it is the kind of book to read often with exercises that really get you out of your own box and inspires you to embrace all that you can be which is limitless. My favorite part of the book is where Tom Ferry gives you questions that stretch you beyond your own comfort zone, and contain the seeds of personal life miracles; they are: Define the following, "Why are you here and what's your purpose"? "Who would you be if you were already there"? and "What do you need to let go of to take the next step"? This is a must read for anyone that wants to be inspired and seize their destiny, stop living their life by accident or default, and live their life by Design!
