Compelling writing, on-the-edge story.

Brian Vallèe brings the pains and emotions of Jane Hurshfield and her son to such a reality, you cannot put this book down. From the demeaning sexual acts, to the abuse of his very own son, Billy Strafford is a frightening sick individual, it's a wonder Jane did not kill him sooner. Her anguish, however, did not end with his death. She endured two trials, time in prison, time away from her children and her memories.
