Mixed Feelings

This one was a bit of struggle to get into but I also found a hard time just not finishing it. It is a long book - read other more detailed reviews before you get into it - great writing though

Incredible And Fascinating

This is one of my all time favorite books. I’ve read it at least 6 times. The characters are complex and provocative, the story is compelling and entrancing. The sequel is wonderful too but this one - it’s what every book should be.

A great story. Could not put it down.

Kate Atkinson explores second chances and living one’s life in different ways with a sort of time travel structure. But it’s not sci fi. Very lovely tale. I reccomend A God In Ruins, her ‘companion piece’ to this book.
