Another page turner from Berot

Just like When Europa Rode the Bull this novel is well written and hard to put down. The sex scenes have to be better and more sensual than any I have read (though I don't read romance novels). It does a great job of providing just enough quick comments on the past to remind you of the details that you may have forgotten from her first novel. A fun quick read (even if it is almost 600 pages). To answer the question of one reviewer: The author may not have been reviewed yet because she self-publishes her books. For whatever crazy reason, to my knowledge, no publisher will pick up her novels. I'm guessing the publishing world is as political as the rest of the world and a lack of publisher probably doesn't help her to get the attention of reviewers.

Berot does it again!

I think I literally counted the days waiting for this book to come out and I was not disappointed. Berot's signature style does what so many books of our time fail to: she makes you FEEL. I could not put it down - like her first book, I read it in about 2 days. Now I'm sitting here, wondering what will happen next and why more people don't know about this amazing saga. Countdown for book three begins now!

Berot Wowed Me Again!!!

What woman can't imagine having two men to love and worship her?!?! The characters that I so loved from "When Europa Rode the Bull" live on and it thrilled me to see them back in action again. Her writing style is excellent and it's wonderful to see some of the characters just touched upon in the first book explored in more depth in her newest novel. I almost had to call out of work to keep reading!

Can't stop reading

Excellent reading. I could not put the book down. Finished in a week. The book picks up where the first left off. Questions are answered, but new ones are raised. Can't wait for Book 3. Romantic, provocative, sensual and gut wrenching! Enjoy. A must for summer reading.

Lies and Liberations, I could not put it down! It continues where the first one ended and once again I'm desperate for more. My question? Why hasn't this author been reviewed? It's NEW YORK TIMES Material, actually it's better than most of their books!
