In this novel, Paul Cooper takes us along side his oil man on incredible adventures, along with his many frustrations. I felt many of the emotions: confusion, fear, lonliness, wondering if he was ever going to get through to his family. And just when I thought I couldn't take anymore trouble(wondering how on earth he withstood the daily challenges), I sat beside him and watched the sunset over a gorgeous desert, described anew time and time again. And I felt peace.
