Informative and Easy to Read

Carol Howell makes this sad, confusing, difficult journey easier. Any tired, sad, confused caregiver can say, "Amen!" to that! Reading about what is going on and what to expect next did result in increased knowledge which brought power, the power gave me hope and that hope made me smile. I picked up this book because my father is in the late stages of Lewy Body Dementia. The book gives many practical tips on how to interact with him that will make his life more comfortable and my life less frustrating. Seeing the world through the eyes of dementia was enlightening. Feeling like I can care for my dad with more compassion and skill is empowering.
