Mark Oxley was born in Kent, England in 1971, but grew up mainly in the Forest of Dean where he quickly acclimatised to the rapidly dying out dialect. His interest in words was born after moving to Cornwall, with this 'rustic' accent As an adult he moved into journalism and story writing, before turning his attention to computer programming; again 'collecting' a variety of computer languages. 'Let's Make Lemonade' is his first book of poetry, in which he explores the darker side of human emotions alongside the simpler joys of the 8 bit computer Complete in itself, the book does give a tantalising glimpse of work yet to come with the addition of 'Prelude'.
