Cute Book for the Dora Lover...

Since my daughter; 19 months, loves Dora, I've been trying to find her some appropriate Dora books. I thought this book sounded interesting so I decided to purchase it. It is a cute book for kids. I've never been quite sure where the star catching theme comes into play with the show, but my daughter loves it so I don't question it. The stars are really cute in the book. As you read the book, you punch out the stars and then put them into little pockets at the end. They easily reattach to their appropriate spots once you've finished the book. The only downside to the book, is I don't feel my daughter can look at this one on her own for fear that one of the stars will get lost. Still, I'll give it five stars just for the fact that she loves it.

Too cute for little Starcatchers!

My daughter received this today, and she's over the moon! She loves the starcatching-theme, haves a starcatcher bed and the episode on DVD. A great book, with the typical interactive Dora-Interface. You'll find the stars from the starcatcher-episode in this book and you even can take them out of the book! My daughter plays with it the whole time, finally she can play Starcatcher for real! The story is a bit different than the one from TV, but really cute with the known stars, Glowy, Switchy, Saltador and Gusty, also a little blue one, which I consider to be Woooohooo. It's one of the most beautiful children's book I saw, as your child can also play, not only read. It also makes a Great Good-Night-Story - we'll test out tonight!
