Jason Freeman is not what you would call an average teenager who lives in California. Unless, to you, battling the evil vampires, only to win and be secretly honored, befriending the good ones, trying to save his friend from the world of vampires, falling in love with his best vampire friend's girlfriend, and trying to keep this all a secret, is normal. Fortunately for Jason, this all proved to not be a challenge since not only was he able to survive the vampires, he was able to survive the social ladder of the high school world, all in one shot. Now, with Brad's approval, Jason is finally able to date Sienna, the first and only girl he had a crush on since he moved to DeVere Heights. Their relationship couldn't get any better; that is, until Sienna's parents discover who she is dating in place of Brad. Their main problem with Jason is how he isn't a vampire, since it is wrong to date outside of their clan. Of course, Jason doesn't take this lightly, but his aunt believes she has the perfect solution. Aunt Bianca, a vampire herself due to her late husband, hasn't been able to have children and wants to pass on the blood and the inheritance to Jason and his sister, Danielle. At first this seems like a plausible solution. But when Jason takes it into consideration he isn't sure if he should change his whole life just for Sienna, or stay the way he is and live a normal life with his parents, away from all of the dangers that come with being a vampire. The thrilling conclusion to the VAMPIRE BEACH series, LEGACY will put chills down your spine, only to leave you hungering for more. Reviewed by: Randstostipher "tallnlankyrn" Nguyen

Jason and Sienna, Together at Last

Things seem to be going well for Jason Freeman. He has managed to fit in with his new Malibu community. He has fought off a couple of nasty threats and helped the local vampires. He has even won the heart of the most wonder of the vampire girls, the beautiful Sienna. But now a new threat to his happiness has arisen. Sienna's parents have decided that as a human, he can not get serious with their daughter. She will have to stick with other vampires. But their love for one another is strong and others know it. Trying to see each other is a monumental undertaking and they are being watched. To make things worse, Jason's sister Dani has also fallen for a vampire. He knows she is going to be put through the same hardship he is. Finally it is decided that if Jason and Sienna are seen together, she will be sent to France. What can they do? The only hope is Jason's Aunt. She was once human and was transformed into a vampire. Transformation is frowned on but worked in her case as her lover was extremely powerful on the Vampire High Council. Suddenly, Aunt Bianca is visiting and acting strangely. Because she never had kids she wants Jason, and Dani, to transform into vampires so they can inherit her legacy. Could this be the solution to Jason and Sienna's dilemma? Jason has to think long and hard about the decision as time begins to quickly run out. Transformation is frowned on for several reasons and one of them is that it often does not work. That knowledge makes Jason's dilemma and decision even more harrowing. What will he decide? This is the fourth book in the series and the series is still good. Jason is not fighting a killer this time (like in the first and third). Instead he if fighting the future. His thoughts on Sienna and their future ring true. This is a real dilemma and it is handled quite well. Jason is a wonderful moral character. He is intelligent and always looking for the better way. Unfortunately Jason as a role model is ruined by his acceptance of underage drinking and getting drunk while being of high-school age. In fact, no one seems to have a problem with it (not even his parents). This is an unfortunate message in an otherwise very well-done and entertaining series. Check it out.
