Painful to read, but worth it

It is difficult to say this is a good read; it is a very painful story of a woman's account of torture and abuse at the hands of family and other trusted adults in her life. I highly recommend this book to any pastor, priest, lay minister or church worker. Sometimes Christians have very sanitary views of the world and we need to see what is a reality to others. There are a few "true stories" out there about individuals coming out of extreme darkness to light, but this is by far the best. It is simply the story of one woman's painful journey to deliverance and healing. Anyone dealing with the painful experiences of child abuse, MPD, or SRA can gain hope from this book.
