Good supplement - not primary study resource

This book contains a large number of questions, and incorrect answer choices receive explanation in the back of each section, which provides constant review of material. I felt the vignettes were considerably more black and white in this question book compared to those seen on my shelf exam, but the book provided a good review and practice integrating the psych material into question format. The book could benefit from another revision, as there were some contradictory or incorrect answers, but overall I felt it was an excellent learning resource. Used this as a supplement to reading a review text (First Aid for Psych) and had a solid performance on the exam.

Great for shelf exam

I used it for the shelf exam and found it to be very good. Clear explanations, each wrong answer choice serves as a review. Shelf was much more simolar to this book than pre-test.

Stop worrying about Psychiatry in Neurology boards

Great book. Finally, after purchasing many psychiatry books, I settled with this one. Almost all of the questions in the exam are same except for dementias and "Neuropsych tests for Dementias". That has to be covered by you elsewhere otherwise you are all set for the Psych part of ABPN Neurology,

Excellent questions

Great book for practice questions. I only used this and Case FIles, and got an adv. I'm sure if I'd gone over it twice and Outstanding would have been easy.
