Finally - A Story that tugs at your heart

Shirley Jump has impressed me with her first book so I am sitting on pins and needles waiting on more to come!Matt is a hero with humor, heart and a past. His story proves that money doesn't make happiness and you can't help but love him as he struggles with his history and loss. Katie is a funny heroine that has lived under the watchful eyes of an entire community. She decides to "let it all hang out" and enjoy life. You laugh with her. You cry with her and you embrace the love that she and Matt have.Ms. Jump proves that you can STILL write a story that has depth without making the hero some egotistic snob. I fell in love with Matt right along with Katie.Now I have to add Shirley Jump to my favorite authors list! Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Julia Quinn, Kathleen Kane / Maureen Child and Shirley Jump.... It can't get much better than this!!

Romance with real soul!

Shirley Jump's romance is romance with soul! The characters have so much depth they practically jump off the pages to greet you in person. I just couldn't quit reading. What a wonderful debut novel from this talented author! I can't wait for more!

This one goes in my keeper file!

Funny and touching, this book shows the true healing powers of love. This is the best romance I've read in a very long time. I love a good bad boy, and Matt is irresistible! Both he and Katie are complex, well-rounded characters. They're so real that you want to have a beer and pizza with them and laugh over their early courtship.

Very a-peel-ing

Good girl trying to go bad (a litle). Bad boy trying to go good (a lot). One chance meeting in the grocery store and BAM, half the town thinks they're engaged! How does this happen and where does the banana suit fit in? You'll have to read this and see! You won't be disappointed. Shirley Jump has a way w/ romances.

This was a great read!! I read it in one sitting!!Fantastic characters and original storyline!! I laughed out loud and teared up. I highly recommend this book!!
