Must read. Better fisherman because of this book. World of wonder opened up

Superbly written with first 8 chapters covering origins of lakes, physical, chemical, biological and aquatic details. An absolute must read. You WILL become a better still water fishing by applying learning from first chapters. Starting chapter 9 - Food sources and I am 100% hooked.

Extremely comprehensive introductory book

An introductory book covering the topic of lake fly fishing. This is an excellent book for basic concepts and uses science as a basis to move into the various discussions. Had to comment on the previous reviewers low score.....the real message is this is a superb introductory resource.
