A novel about history and the human mind

This book is not only a description of a dark era, when the nazism was raising in Germany and spreading throughout the world, but an illustration of the human mind and its behavior toward this particular time of history. Through his characters and the relationships that attach them, the author is able to offer the reader a travel inside of their minds analysing the human being's behavior towaed history. The story is intrigating and keeps the reader interested in the characters' story, while the author puts diferent people in the middle to show the diferent kind of personalities involved behind the facts which changed the history.
